Do you take insurance?
At this time, I am a self-pay provider and do not accept insurance. This allows me to offer personalized care without the restrictions that often come with insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service, and I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request if you would like to seek potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. Although we advise contacting your insurance company to inquire, please feel free to reach out with any questions about fees or the reimbursement process—I’m here to help. Therapy is often HSA and FSA eligible. Payment accepted via credit or debit card. Session Rates 60 minute intake session: $159 50 minute following sessions: $149

What can I expect in my first session?
The intake session is our opportunity to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about your goals, your personal history, and the issues you're currently facing. If it feels like a good fit for both of us, we’ll go ahead and schedule future sessions to secure your preferred day and time.

Myth: Therapy is only for people with a serious mental illness.
No, therapy isn’t just for people with serious mental illnesses. While it’s certainly helpful for managing conditions like depression, anxiety, or PTSD, therapy is also beneficial for anyone who’s dealing with life stressors, relationship issues, personal growth, or just wants to improve their mental well-being. Even if you're not dealing with a diagnosable mental health condition, therapy can be an excellent tool for gaining insight, building resilience, or just working on the “mental hygiene” side of things. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from it!

Myth: The therapist will judge me.
Their role is to provide a non-judgmental, safe space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Therapists are trained to be empathetic, objective, and understanding. Their primary goal is to help you better understand yourself and your emotions, not to criticize or make you feel bad.

Myth: If you start therapy, you will always have to be in therapy.
No, you don’t have to stay in therapy forever. Therapy is a tool that helps people manage mental health, work through challenges, and improve well-being, but it’s not meant to be a lifelong commitment for everyone. The length of time you spend in therapy depends on your goals and your progress. Some people go for a few months to address a specific issue, while others may stay longer for ongoing support. It’s totally okay to take breaks from therapy, too. Many people check in for a “tune-up” every so often or return if something new comes up in their life.
